Booking & Check-In

Information about bookings, payments and check-in.

Q: What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in time is any time after 2pm and check-out is no later than 10am. If you require an extension on either of these times please enquire at reception.

Q: Do you require a security bond upon check-in?

All bookings require a $200 deposit to secure the booking. A pre-authorisation is also required which is simply a security deposit that temporarily reduces your credit card limit. It may be used to cover breakages, damage incurred during your stay or excessive cleaning charges in excess of normal cleaning. If you are utilising some of our pet friendly accommodation, a $500 pet security bond is required and is refunded within 7 days of check out, provided the apartment is left in a satisfactory condition.

Q: Is after hours check-in available?

Yes, an outdoor key safe is located on-site for all after hour check-ins. In order to utilise this service however, notice is required and a mobile number must be provided so that our staff can send you the access code on the day of your arrival. The balance of accommodation owing on your apartment will also be debited on acceptance of the keys so credit card details need to be provided at time of booking for this purpose. Accepting keys from the night safe is equivalent to signing the booking slip and agreeing to Founda Gardens terms and conditions.

Q: Can I have a late check-out?

Available on request should bookings permit.

Q: When do I have to pay a deposit?

Upon confirmation, a $200 deposit is required in order to secure the booking. This can be done over the phone or by direct transfer to the Founda Gardens account.

Q: What are the reception hours?

The reception is staffed from 8am-6pm, Monday-Friday however the on-site manager can be contacted outside of these hours via mobile.

Q: Can I book theme park tickets at reception?

No sorry. Theme park brochures are available with all details required for guests to book themselves or we are happy to assist with the process.

General information about our accommodation services and on-site facilities.

Q: Is there Internet or WiFi access available?

Wifi is available and free in the Founda Gardens foyer or in your apartment for a small charge.

Q: What facilities do you have?

All of our apartments are fully furnished and fully self-contained. The apartments have spacious balconies with an outdoor setting. The kitchens contain a dishwasher, fridge with freezer, oven with hotplates, microwave, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. A separate laundry, washing machine and dryer is also included alongside other convenient utilities such as an iron, hairdryer, safe etc. Complimentary Foxtel is also included.

Outdoors we have a sauna, pool and BBQ area, perfect for relaxing with family and friends.

Q: Is there car parking available?

Undercover parking is provided free for guests. There are plenty of visitor’s parks available in the Founda Gardens grounds.

Q: Is all linen provided?

Absolutely, we provide all linen.

Q: How often are the rooms serviced?

Apartments are serviced weekly with sheets, towels and other linen provided.

Q: Is the pool heated?

No, however we do have a sauna located in the pool area if you’re looking for somewhere to warm up!

General information about our location.

Q: How close is Suncorp Stadium & The Gabba?

Suncorp Stadium is only a short 15min walk or 5min drive away. The Gabba is easily accessible with buses and trains running to the ground regularly.

Q: Are there shops or restaurants nearby?

You’ll be spoilt for choice as you stroll along Park Road Milton, linking Milton Road and Coronation Drive. Between glamorous bars, plenty of cafes, a steakhouse, Thai, Chinese, sophisticated Asian, pizza, this precinct really has it all!

Q: Is there public transport nearby?

Along Coronation Dr there are multiple bus stops that travel both in and out of the city centre. Milton train station is a short walk away and the CityCat Milton terminal has just opened up 2min from our front door.

Q: What local attractions are in the area?

Brisbane boasts a wide array of activities for all age groups. From art galleries, local parklands, river cruises and fine dining there really is something for everyone. Due to its ideal location, Founda Gardens is only a short distance from all of these things and more! Take a train ride north or south and find yourself on beautiful beaches or amongst the rain forest.

If adventure is more your style, perhaps you’d like to take a ride to some of Queensland’s largest amusement parks on the Gold Coast.

Q: Where can I buy groceries locally?

Toowong Village is located about 2km away and has Coles, David Jones, Kmart, and many specialty stores, plus some major banks.

Queen Street Mall and the Myer Centre in Brisbane City have a range of specialty shops. There is a Woolworths supermarket in the bottom of the Myer Centre.

Indooroopilly shoppingtown is a large complex 10 minutes further out of town. To get there; catch a 425, 435, 445, or 454 bus to the Indooroopilly Interchange A.

A Coles Express is just around the corner on Coronation Drive and provides all the basics. A larger IGA, conveniently open 24 hours, is located in Baroona Rd shops, corner of Baroona and Milton Rds and is approx. 15 mins walk.
